Highlights:

  • Taking a careful approach given Omicron’s spread, the team came together earlier this month, for a daylong strategy session. We brainstormed, mapped out our launch, and of course had some fun. A highlight was seeing the high fidelity prototype app come to life. The app is on track for a spring release.
  • We’re official! Civex has been certified as a “Qualified Connecticut Business” and member of the Connecticut Angel Investor Tax Credit program. Why is that important? It could mean a tax credit for you.
    • To encourage individuals to invest in promising startups, the State of Connecticut has created the Angel Investor Tax Credit Program. This program provides accredited investors with a 25% credit against Connecticut’s state income tax when they invest at least $25k in qualifying businesses, such as Civex.

Proxy News

  • Civex is thrilled to see proxy voting in the news — the future is being shaped right now, and we want you to have a voice. Roll Call reported that changes by the SEC will likely help shareholders in 2022. Changes by the SEC plus Civex in your pocket could make your voice louder than it’s ever been.
