How does Civex protect my personal information?

How does Civex collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you (i) open an account; (ii) provide us financial information; or (iii) tell us about your investment portfolio. We also may collect your personal information from other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only:
- Sharing for Affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness.
- Affiliates from using your information to market to you.
- Sharing for Non-Affiliates to market to you.
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. See below for more on your rights under state laws.
Definitions
Affiliates: Companies related by common ownership or control.
Currently, Civex does not have any Affiliates.
Non-Affiliates: Companies not related by common ownership or control. Civex shares certain of your personal information with Non-Affiliates.
Joint Marketing: A formal agreement between non-affiliated companies that together market certain products or services to you. Civex engages in Joint Marketing with companies.
